Our next workshop schedule has been finalized. Zane Berry of Mystic FADS will be teaching workshops in Cha Cha and Argentine Tango Sundays in May (7, 14, 21, 28) 3-4:30. See our calendar or Facebook page for copies of the Registration Form!
Reminder - St. Patricks Day Parade Downtown Mystic
USA Dance Chapter 3026 has been invited to join the Mystic and Old Saybrook Fred Astaire Dance Studios to "dance" in the Mystic Irish Parade this year. The Parade will take place on Sunday March 19th at 1:00 PM. Dancers and FADS volunteers will first gather in the Mystic FADS parking lot at 10:30 AM, then moving to the Seaport main parking lot around 11:30 AM.
We will be peforming the following dances: Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Salsa and Swing. See the below link to see all four videos. All those who want to march and dance in the parade from USA Dance should contact Raeleen St Pierre of the FADS Old Saybrook. If you would like to practice the steps both the Mystic and Old Saybrook FADS will be holding a practice Friday March 17th at 7:30 PM. There is no charge for attending the practice. However, there is a small fee if you would like to stay after the parade practice to attend the FADS evening party.
